Welcome to Middle School

Growing in faith and building Christ-like habits

Hosanna’s Middle School program offers an  engaging learning community where your student can thrive. We work hard to cultivate students’ talents and potential by pouring into them academically, emotionally and spiritually. We recognize that not everyone  learns the same way, but believe everyone can thrive uniquely.

What's Different About Hosanna?

Hosanna’s approach to academic excellence is centered on the life of Christ and focuses on learning through an applicable, Biblical point of view. Our goal is to prepare students from Pre-K through high school with an elevated, quality education and valuable life skills to thrive in our ever-changing world.

Our students build lifelong friendships with classmates and valuable mentorships with HCS staff. The school’s family-focused environment promotes trust between students and teachers and encourages students to celebrate the successes of their classmates, as well as their own.

6th - 8th Learning

Students engage in English Language Arts, Science, History, Math, Computer Technology and Bible curriculum as they rotate through classes each day, interacting with three different teachers. They will also participate in P.E. and their chosen electives each semester.

  • History courses include geography, Washington State history, American history, and World history from a Biblical worldview.
  • Life Science includes hands-on lab work and observes lifecycles of butterflies, dissecting earthworms, and frogs.
  • Mathematics for grades 6th, 7th, and Pre-Algebra are taught separately for each grade level.

Building Character

Hosanna focuses on character development of each student on a regular basis. Students are taught to take ownership of their decisions and personal growth and are encouraged to pursue a personal relationship with Christ each day.

Field Trips & Extracurricular

Hosanna’s Middle School program provides off-campus opportunities for students through local and national field trips. In the past, students have participated in outdoor school, visited the Oregon Aquarium and Portland Zoo, as well as national trips to New York and Washington, DC.

Please contact the office to learn more about this year’s field trip locations.

A Note from the Principal

“Middle school is such a fun and unique time in students’ lives. Parents can take comfort in the experience of our incredible instructors and the attention they give to each individual middle school student. Hosanna offers a rigorous curriculum and individual accountability as students look forward to learning and growing in a safe and welcoming environment. They will cultivate positive friendships and make lasting memories!” -Principal Bose
