Student Life at Hosanna Christian School

At Hosanna, student life extends far beyond the classroom! We believe in cultivating a vibrant, Christ-centered community where students can grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Through clubs, athletics, leadership opportunities, and service projects, students develop lifelong skills, deepen friendships, and experience hands-on learning in exciting ways.

Clubs & Enrichment Activities

We offer a dynamic selection of clubs throughout the year, allowing students to explore new interests and develop their talents:

  • Fall Club Session: Volleyball, Science Club, Chess Club
  • Winter Club Session: Science Club, Art Club, Chess Club (more clubs in development!)
  • Spring Club Session: Science Club, Chess Club, and additional opportunities to be announced!

Athletics

We encourage students to stay active, build teamwork, and develop a spirit of perseverance through our athletic programs:

  • Fall: Girls Volleyball (5th–8th grade)
  • Winter: Boys & Girls Basketball (5th–8th grade)

Leadership Development

Students in grades 8–12 can take an active role in shaping their school experience by joining our Student Council, where they develop leadership skills, plan school events, and serve as role models in our community.

Adventurous Learning & Field Trips

We believe learning should be an adventure! Our students have the opportunity to participate in enriching field trips that bring their studies to life:

  • Biennial Washington, D.C. Trip (7th & 8th grade) – Explore our nation’s capital and its rich history.
  • Biennial High School Educational Trip – Travel to destinations like Italy, Germany, France, or the Ark Encounter for an unforgettable cultural and historical experience.
  • Outdoor School (6th grade) – A hands-on exploration of nature, teamwork, and environmental science.
  • Classroom Field Trips – Engaging local excursions to complement our curriculum.

Serving Our Community

Rooted in our Christian values, we encourage students to give back through acts of service. Middle and high school students complete 10–30 hours of community service each school year, helping them develop a heart for serving others.

Student Mentorship & Science Buddies

Our Science Buddies program fosters mentorship and a love for discovery! High school students partner with our early learning and elementary students for hands-on science experiments in our lab, making learning exciting for our youngest scholars.

At HCS, student life is about building friendships, strengthening faith, and discovering God’s purpose for our lives. We invite every student to get involved and make the most of their school experience!

At Hosanna, we are always looking for new opportunities to enrich student life and support our families. If you have an idea for a club or activity that would benefit our students, we’d love to hear from you! Additionally, if you’re interested in volunteering or helping to lead a club, please contact Mrs. Rosales at l.rosales@hosannacs.org or reach out to the school office info@hosannacs.org or 306-906-0941. Your involvement helps make Hosanna a thriving, Christ-centered community for all!
